The management of Federal University Gusau Zamfara State says, they are communicating with the parents of the abducted students and the security agencies to ensure the release of the kidnapped students.
The University librarian Dr Aliyu Gadanga Tsafe announced this while answering questions from newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.
Dr Aliyu Gadanga Tsafe, who represented the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Muazu Abubakar said the school management and security agencies operating in the state have take adequate measures to ensure the release of the kidnapped students.
He explain that, lack of hostels to accommodate students inside the school and perimeter fence are the major problems facing the institution and called on state and federal government to assist them to overcome the situations.
In an interview with Radio Nigeria Correspondent in Gusau, some students said many of them were kidnapped in the past but nothing was done to rescue them either by the school management or the security agencies.
Five students of the university were abducted , three males and two females a situation which has angered the students .
