Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM Yobe is one of the 33 sisters FM Stations established by the federal Government to bring radio listenership to the doorstep of the people at the grassroots.

The station commenced transmission in 2nd March, 2018 on the frequency 88.1 MHZ but now transmitting of 104.5 MHZ Rated by the media planning Service as the-most-listened to Radio Station in Yobe State Sunshine FM Yobe is armed with capable manpower and state of the art equipment. It broadcast in hausa, And English covering 85% of Yobe State in addition to the significant listenership in neighbouring Gombe, Bauchi, Kano, Jigawa, Borno.
