National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has flagged off the Yobe East Senatorial bye-election campaign.
Flagging off the campaign at August 27th Stadium in Damaturu, Abdullahi Ganduje, assured the APC national working committee support to ensure the success of its candidate Musa Mustapha Coolas who was recently nominated as flag bearer to represent the party at the forthcoming February 3rd bye-election to replace Senator Ibrahim Geidam who is appointed minister of the Federal Republic by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Party Chairman commended Yobeans for supporting the APC party at all times and urged them to maintain the history by coming out en masse to vote for its Candidate in the forthcoming polls.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman Nigerian Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodima, said he was in Yobe State to show solidarity with Governor Mai Mala Buni, for his efforts in building the Party.
He pointed out that in Nigeria APC values the activities of the Yobe State Governor which necessitate him and the National Party Chairman to attend the event.
He, therefore, lauded the effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for managing the security situation in the country and called on the people of Yobe East to vote for an APC candidate to increase the number of the ruling party in the senates that will give the president more support to continue with the good work he has started.
In his both of thanks the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni called on the People of the Yobe Zone A to vote for the rightful candidate.
Governor Buni stated that voting for the ruling All Progressive Congress Party Candidate is the rightful option for the Yobeans, to encourage more developmental projects in the State.
