Bauchi State Government has appointed Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi as the tenth emir of Jama’are following the demise of his father twenty-two days ago.
Delivering the letter of appointment at the Emir’s palace, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Hashim Said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Responding, the new Emir Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, assured commitment to do justice to all his people without fear or favour.
Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi who was one of the five major contenders to be the Emir of Jama’are, said Allah Almighty has chosen him not because he was better, but for the fact that he was destined to be on the throne.
He solicited for maximum support and cooperation of the people of Jama’are Emirate to enable him deliver on his mandate.
The new Emir who appreciated people of the Emirate for their prayers and confidence and pledged to do all within his power to bring about the needed development to the Emirate.
Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, was born in 1961, attended Central Primary School Jama’are and obtained his secondary school certificate in Kuranga Secondary School Azare, Bauchi State, then proceeded to SBRS Funtua and moved University of Jos where he obtained his first degree in Sociology.
