Over fifty fulani herders in Nasarawa State were confirmed killed in an airstrike in Ekye Development Area of theState.
Uconfirmed sources stated that over sixty five were killed in airstrike by unidentified helicopter suspected to be from Benue State.
The mass burial was carried out in Doma Local Government of the State amidst mammoth crowd.
A security personnel who was at the scene where the corpses were kept for onward protest to Government House by the herders to inform the State Governor on the development.
It was learnt that fulani herders identified the attackers are from Benue State.
The State Police Pubic Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan conformed the development to nwwsmen in lafia, the State Capital.
