Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi, the chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, has donated four million naira and 40 bags of rice to the Christian community in Yobe South senatorial district.
The gift was conveyed by Alhaji Idi Jugujugu on behalf of the Senator, and is aimed at supporting Christian clerics and the less privileged in celebrating Christmas comfortably.
Jugujugu extended the Senator’s warmest wishes to the Christian faithful and also wished them a successful Christmas celebration.
Mr. Adamu Koya Galadima, the Coordinator Yobe state Christian Pilgrim, praised Senator Bomai’s inclusive leadership, hailing him as a true democrat.
He said Senator Bomai’s gesture is a reflection of his humanity and his definition of love.
Reverend Kefas Williams, Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), also commended the Senator for his humanitarian support to pastors and the less privileged in Yobe South.
Rev. Williams added that, More than 50 pastors have benefited from this support.
Dignitaries present at the venue includes pastors, CAN leaders, subgroup leaders, among others.
