The Director General (DG), Press and Media Affairs to Governor Mai Mala Buni, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed has sympathised with Abubakar Iliya Girba over the Demise of his Mother, Mairama Umar.
Mairama Umar, died on Wednesday, as a result of protracted illness,
in Potiskum.
Late Mother Mairama, aged 92, left behind seven children, among whom were Abubakar Iliya Girba, a staff of Yobe State Ministry of Information, attached to the Office of the DG Press and Media Affairs to Yobe Governor, Government House Damaturu, Umar Muhammad Sabo of the Nigeria Customs Service and many grandchildren.
The leader of the delegation, Mohammed Gambo said they were in Potiskum as assigned by the DG Press, who is on an official assignment away from the state, to represent him and the entire members of the press and staff under his office to condole with the family on the sad moment.
Sympathising with the family through the delegation, the Director General, describes the death as a great loss.
He prayed for Allah to grant her soul eternal rest and for members of the family fortitude to bear with the irreparable loss.
Receiving the delegation, Abubakar Iliya Girba, thanked the Director General and the entire staff under his directorate for their concern by delegating some of the members all away from Damaturu to Potiskum to commesorate with the family.
He therefore prayed for Allah to reward them abundantly and the journey mercy back home.
