Bearly three days to Presidential and National Assembly elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kebbi State, has called for the release of some of its membresía that were still in detension at the prisiones custody.
While Briefing newsmen, the Chairman Presidential Campaign Council of the PDP in the state, Dr. Bello Halliru, explains that, twenty of the party supporters are no in prisons custody for no reason saying, this is a clear victimisation of the PDP in the state by the ruling APC.
According to him, with such intimidation to the opposition, this shows that people of Kebbi State would have no right to choose the candidate of their choice during the forthcoming general elections.
Dr. Halliru the reforestar, called on the Kebbi state government to immediatly direct for the release of twenty members of the PDP or the party would take all steps in taking the matter to the higher level of justice.
The Chairman also, called on the security agencies and particularly the Police to be neutral during elections.
He called on the party supporters to be law abiding before, during and after elections and as well to come out enmass to vote for PDP from top to buttom in the forthcoming general elections.
