Yobe State’s former Governor, Senator Ibrahim Geidam, has congratulated the senator representing Yobe South, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, on his recent appointment as the Chairman Senate committee on Federal Capital Territory.
In a congratulatory message, Sen. Geidam described Senator Bomai’s recent appointment as a testament to his exceptional track record of service and dedication to the betterment of the nation.
“l am confident that with you at the help of the committee, the Federal Capital Territory will witness remarkable achievements in all aspects of development”. Geidam said.

He said, “Your expertise, leadership, and passion for progress will undoubtedly drive positive changes and bring about significant improvements.”
The former governor noted that the appointment also reflects the trust and confidence placed in him by his colleagues at the Red Chamber and constituents.
He, therefore, described Bomai’s appointment as a recognition of his unwavering commitment to serving the people and advancing the Interests of the nation as a whole”.
Geidam further extended his best wishes for a successful and efficient tenure and also encouraged him that his oversight functions would play a crucial role in ensuring accountability, transparency, and effective governance within the Federal Capital Territory.
