    The Zamfara State Police Command in collaboration with other Security agencies have rescued thirty two kidnapped victims who were abducted in Niger, Katsina and Zamfara States.The Command Public Relation Officer, SP Mohammed Shehu disclosed this to newsmen during a press briefing held at the command headquarters in Gusau, the state capital.SP Shehu said Police Tactical operatives deployed along Mada axis while on confidence building patrol, acted on intelligence information and rescued ten kidnapped victims who were abducted along Sheme – Funtua road in Katsina State,He added that, the victims who held from Birnin Magaji LGA of Zamfara State were abducted while coming back from Lagos State adding that, they were properly treated and debriefed by the Police and handed over to their families.According to him, Police have also succeeded to the unconditional rescue of three kidnapped victims who were abducted along Sheme – Funtua road on 10th January, 2022, two of the rescued victims are from Kaduna State, while the other one is from Kebbi State.SP Shehu added that, nineteen kidnapped victims including 15 males and 4 females were handed over by Brigade Commander, 1 Brigade Nigerian Army Gusau to Zamfara State Police Command.The victims were rescued by the Military Operatives along Dansadau axis in Maru local government area, they were abducted while working in their farmlands by armed bandits and took them to a forest in Dansadau axis where they spent two months in captivity.The victims have been medically treated and debriefed by the Police, and will be handed over to the Commissioner of Police Niger State Command who will reunite them with their familiesSANI DUTSINMA.

The Zamfara State Police Command in collaboration with other Security agencies have rescued thirty two kidnapped victims who were abducted in Niger, Katsina and Zamfara States.
