KiA free Medical Outreach has been conducted in Birshin Fulani community in Bauchi local government area.
The medical outreach was organised by the Bauchi state chapter of Rotary Club International, with a target of five hundred people to benefit.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Radio Nigeria Ado Jibrin, Jummai Ladan and Rakiya Rabi’u said they were tested for eye related problems and provided with reading glasses.
They appreciated the organiser for choosing the community to conduct the humanitarian service and appealed to others to emulate.
The ward head of Birshin Fulani represented by Chiroman Birshi, Isah Chiroma said the free medical intervention would go a long way in alleviating the sufferings of his people.
Earlier speaking, the President of the club in Bauchi, Rotarian Chukwunonso Nwobi said the community was chosen because it lacks medical facility and assured readiness to conduct same in other communities in the state.
Rotarian Nwobi explained that the services rendered include Eye checks, Malaria test, Covid vaccine, routine immunization and provision of deworming tablets for children among others.
He called on professionals who have the zeal of offering philanthropic services to join the group for the overall development of humanity.
