    By ALIYU LAWAL.Thirty three suspects have been arrested by the Niger State Police Command over the killing of Village Head of Lambata and burning of divisional police headquarters at Kafin-Koro.Police Public Relations Officer DSP Wasiu Abiodun stated this in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna.DSP Wasiu Abiodun said of the number fourteen irate youths attacked the Village Head of Lambata Alh Mohammed Abdulsafur inflicted serious injuries on him and his brother Ibrahim Mohammed unfortunately the Village Head was later confirmed dead in the hospital.The arrest was sequel to the directive of Commissioner of Police in charge of Niger state M Agundele Ayodeji to police operatives led by Area Commander Suleja and conducted a house to house. search where the suspects were arrested.During interrogation the suspects have confessed that there has been a lingering issue of chieftaincy tussle between them stressing that they will be arrangned in court.DSP Wasiu Abiodun also explained that nineteen suspects have been arrested for burning the Kafin-Koro District Police Headquarters in Paikoro Local Government Council.The suspects were appeested with dangerous weapons such as sticks stones bottles and quantity of PM's petrol and other weapons.The suspects have been arraigned before before a court of competent jurisdiction for prosecution..

Thirty three suspects have been arrested by the Niger State Police Command over the killing of Village Head of Lambata and burning of divisional police headquarters at Kafin-Koro.
