The National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, Yobe State Office has Organized a One-day Stakeholders Forum For Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Health care Facilities (HCF) and Health Management Organizations (HMOs) in the state.
The NHIA Yobe state Acting Coordinator, Mallam Mansur Akilu while in an address highlighted that one of the objectives of the forum is to provide insight into the new changes and reforms including the NHIA law 2022.
The Acting Coordinator Said NHIA is Committed to Promoting excellence and professionalism in Business process and Healthcare delivery as one of its core values.
Mallam Akilu further said any person enrolled in NHIA has the right to access healthcare in any NHIA accredited health provider anywhere on emergency.
One of the Facilitators,Dr Auwal Ibrahim from NHIA Yobe state office in his presentation outlined Routine laboratory investigation, Maternal and childcare services, Accidents and emergency services as some of the services rendered by NHIA.
The event was held at Amalgamated Union Secretariat Hall along Gashua road in Damaturu.
