    By ALIYU LAWAL.The People's Democratic Party PDP Presidentiial Candidate and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has assured Nigerians that insecurity poverty hunger and other challenges bedeviling Nigeria will be a thing of the past if voted in the forthcoming general elections as President.The former Vice President was speaking at the PDP Presidential campaign rally in Minna, Niger state.Alh Atiku Abubakar recalled that in twenty fifteen Nigerians voted the All Progressives Congress, APC, against the PDP in their desire for change but however argued that today, instead of bringing about the desired change, APC only succeeded in plunging Nigeria into myriad of problems.He insisted that"you said you wanted change in twenty fifteen and you voted the APC, but, today, the party has brought insecurity, hunger and much sufferings stressing that now is the time to change the change by voting the PDP in the general elections at both national and state levels.Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also told the mammoth crowd that the Atiku/Okowa ticket if elected would complete the Baro Port project in Niger state for the good progress and development of the state.In his remarks the Vice presidential candidate, and Delta state Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa called on Nigerlites to campaign for the party at both state and the grassroots level from village to village to ensure it wins at both state and national levels.Director General Campaign Atiku/Okowa Organization, and Sokoto state Governor Barrister Aminu  Waziri Tambuwal allegedly accused the Muhammad Buhari led administration of deceiving people of Niger state by commissioning the Baro Port project which is currently not functioning and urged them to take advantage of the power of their PVC'S to elect credible leaders.Also Speaking, former Niger State Governor and Chairman Presidential campaign Committee in the state Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu appealed to  Nigerlites to vote for PDP to ensure that it succeed in the general elections to reap true dividend of democracy.Chairman People's Democratic Party PDP in Niger state Barrister Tanko Beji assured of their reslove to ensure that the PDP emerges victorious at all levels.
