The President and Commander-in-Chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, granted audience to Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The statement issued by his Director General Press and Media Affairs Mamman Mohammed indicates that Governor Buni, briefed the President on some areas that are in need of federal government intervention to improve the lives of the people.
He briefed the President on the recovery efforts made by the state government and the need to support the people with sustainable means of livelihood.
Buni said “the government and people of Yobe state would appreciate provision of more infrastructure to hasten the reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery process of the state government.”
President Tinubu commended Governor Buni for the recovery efforts, assuring that the federal government would be on the same page with Yobe state government to improve and make life more meaningful to the people of the state.
