Tikau Emirate Council has approved the Upgrading of Alhaji Aliyu Saleh Bagare from the title of “Turaki” to “Madakin” Tikau
This is contained in a letter signed by the acting secretary of the Emirate Council, Malam Adamu Umaru
The statement explained that the development was as a result of his dedication, hard work and loyalty to the Emirate
While congratulating the new Madaki, the Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema urged him to abide by all the rules and regulations governing the emirate council.
The Royal father also called on him to be good ambassadors by disassociating himself from any act of misconduct.
In his remarks, the Madaki of Tikau Alhaji Aliyu Saleh Bagare promise to abide by all rules and regulations governing the Emirate, while discharging his responsibilities.
Before his appointment, Alhaji Aliyu Saleh Bagare was the Turaki of Tikau, who served delegently as Former Deputy Governor Yobe for 8 years under Bukar Abba Ibrahim
