Yobe state government has declared tomorrow 19th July 2023 as Public holiday.
This is contained in a release signed and issued today by the Head of civil service Alh Garba Bilal.
According to the release, tomorrow being the 19th of July 2023 is equivalent to the 1st Day of Muharram 1445 of the new Islamic calendar.
It further states that the holiday is aimed at availing people the opportunity to pray for peace and bumper harvest in the state.
Civil servants are expected to resume work on Thursday 20th July 2023, after the break.
