    Kwara State Government says it has concluded plans to regulate the operation of scavengers to ensure security of lives and properties in the state.The State Commissioner for Environment, Mallam Shehu Ndanusa stated this during a meeting with the executives of Scavengers at the Ministry Headquarters, in Ilorin, the State Capital.According to him the idea will also generate more revenue to the state.Mallam Ndanusa said the Ministry would official register all scavengers for easy identification and ensure efficient operation across the state.The commissioner warned scavengers in the state to stay away from criminal activities and operate in accordance with the provisions of the law.In his address ,Kwara State Chairman of Scavengers, Mallam Musa Umah expressed their readiness to comply and operate in line with the law governing their businesses.

Kwara State Government says it has concluded plans to regulate the operation of scavengers to ensure security of lives and properties in the state.

The State Commissioner for Environment, Mallam Shehu Ndanusa stated this during a meeting with the executives of Scavengers at the Ministry Headquarters, in Ilorin, the State Capital.
